Evolution's Mendelian Mayhem, or "Howie", is showing on the east coast with Patronus Kennel, in Virginia. He is proudly owned and loved by Kathleen Smith. He just recieved a 4 point major in July (2007) and also a 3 point major and an AOM award at the Kentuckiana in March (2007). Howie is on the show circuit, so look for him on the east coast! Evolution's Tinker With Eden lives in the sunny state of Arizona! She is owner-handled by Phyllis KilCullen. Phyllis is the Historian for the MBTCA. Pegeen has already won a BIS (Best In Show) at an international puppy show in December 2006--at 6 just months old! (See our Updates page for the details and each international Judge's glowing evaluation of her). Pegeen is an Irish name which means "pearl". She shares her home with International Ch. Hobbit Hills Irish Buck O' Brien. Nice going Pegeen!
Ch. Evolution's Luck Be A Lady, AOM, finished her Champion title on May 20th 2006 with 15 points! She was the #9 Mini Bull Terrier in America for year 2006 (breed points)! She lives in California, owned by Joe and Jessica Croninger. Joe did a great job owner-handling her to that great accomplishment! Congratulations! Tootie is from the 2005 "Luke"--Ch Bullmoon's Jedi Knight-- litter--the "gambling theme" litter. She also attended the AKC/ Eukanuba National Championship this year, and did a great job showing! So far, in 2007, Tootie has won a prestigious AOM award!
Ch. Evolution's Pair-A-Dice, otherwise known as "Vegas" is our most recent Champion from 2006! She finished with her two final points in Black Foot, Idaho June 17-18th 2006. Vegas has a wonderful, loving disposition, and she loves to play with "uncle" Duey. She is a fine example of the Mini, in that she is tiny (13 1/2 inches tall) and full of energy. She has a great head, a booming body and a super temperment to boot! She is a blast to show and takes her job very seriously.
Ch. Evolution's High Roller Finished his AKC Champion Title on May 21st 2006 with 15 points! Way to go Carlos! This boy is a dream, and was expertly handled to his Champion title by Daren Gisseman-Owner handled! Congratulations to you both! Carlos lives here with us at Evolution Kennels in Utah. Carlos finished the year ranked #11 in America for 2006, (down from #4 back in July 2006). He received a special invitation to the Eukanuba Challenge, held in Long Beach, CA on the weekend of December 2nd and 3rd in 2006.

Bullistix Double Take-N-Evolution aka "Duey" is the product of two imports--sire from the UK and the dam from Australia--which, as a result, he is a little tall (from aussie Stardom Kennel interbreds). His great grandparents from the UK include: Admirari Ace Ventura, Ch Minimayhem Master Mine (whose sire is Ch Made to Measure of Bullyon), and Amazing Grace at Admirari (first litter of Spitewinter Spokesman). From the aussie side they are Aust. Ch Faringdon Tiny Megastar, Aust. Ch Another Hero (a Bull Terrier, son of Jamie's Bright Star at Ishaba). He is our clown in the house. Now showing, Duey has won Best of Breed two days in a row at Utah's "Bonnaville Basin Kennel Club" in September of 2005. He is pointed--he won Winners Dog in Black Foot, Idaho for one point. He has taken many Reserves to Winners Dog. Look for him in the ring for 2007. Good luck Duey! 2006 testing: OFA Kidney's=Normal CERF eyes=Clear.
Ch.Evolution's High Roller (Carlos) pictured as a NEW Champion in 2006! He finished at the Mt. Ogden Kennel Club in Logan Utah. We are so proud of this boy and just think he is beautiful! As of July 2006 Carlos was the #4 Mini Bull in the country, but ended the year at the national rank of #11! He has a very sweet temperment and just loves to be loved. We are so grateful to the help from friends and family in and out of the breed.

Evolution MBT’s is owned and operated by Daren and Tiffanie Gisseman. We are dog enthusiasts and have been breeding and exhibiting Miniature Bull Terriers since 2003-- and Boxers since year 1998. We have established a careful and health conscious breeding program that promotes handsome and healthy Mini Bull Terriers. Our "Evolution MBT’s" are known for their funny characters and carefully selected owners.
Our home is located on 3/4 acre country lot, complete with a red barn, a retired rodeo roping horse (Opi), a Nigerian Dwarf Goat (Stella), cats and chickens. We are 20 minutes north of downtown Salt Lake City--in West Bountiful. This valley is off of the Wasatch Mountains of Utah and close to the shores of the Great Salt Lake. We keep only a couple bullies to live at our home as most Evolution bullies live with their co owners in their homes throughout the US, mainly in Utah. We believe it is important for Minis to live with families and not in dog runs and kennels. Therefore, puppies, when available, are “in-home-nurtured” by their mothers and families.
Evolution extends its expertise for helping new owners learn to exhibit "show quality bullies" and in simply enjoying their bully baby, whether pet or show. "Pet quality pups" are also available, usually with an additional deposit, which is returned when the dog is spayed or neutered. To encourage puppy buyers to have their puppies tattooed or microchipped & take them to puppy socialization training, we offer a rebate to those who do both.
Evolution Mini Bull Terriers are bred only after passing testing to preclude genetic and other problems. Puppies go home after a first vet check, with heart test auscultation result paperwork, usually between 9 and 12 weeks old. If interested in getting on the waiting list for an Evolution MBT pup, please request and complete our puppy questionnaire. Pups are occasionally available to caring homes and the questionnaire is designed to help us get to know prospective buyers. We care deeply that relationships between pups and their new families, as well as between our kennel and the new families, are positive and productive.
As Mini Bull Terriers are tough to find, many potential buyers--impatient for a pup--often unknowingly turn to puppy mills, or poor quality, sometimes ignorant “backyard breeders”. Puppy mills almost always have pups available. Evolution MBT’s does not. Puppy mills do not offer proof of health testing. Evolution MBT’s and all reputable breeders do. Puppy mills may not offer AKC registration because the AKC is discovering spurious puppy mill operations. All Evolution pups are AKC registered. Puppy mills will ship or sell to anyone who has the money. Evolution MBT’s puppies must be picked up in person. If you care that your puppy comes from healthy parents and pedigrees and are willing to be patient if pups are not currently available, please request and complete our questionnaire.
