Evolution's Mendellian Mayhem (Howie) wins 3 pt. Major and an AOM at Kentuckiana 3/17/07! Howie was recently honored with an Award of Merit (AOM) at the MBTCA supported Kentuckiana show on 3/17/07! AOM's are awarded at particular shows determined by the club sponsoring the show (like Westminster). It's published beforehand in the catalog stating how many MBT's need to be entered for the amount of AOM's to be awarded. In addition to Best of Breed (BOB) and Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed (BOS), a predetermined number of individual specimens may be awarded a special trophy or rosette in recognition of their merit. The club may determine its own criteria for and the number of trophies or rosettes to be awarded. Way to go Howie and Kathleen--what a great honor!!!
He also won the BOS in Puppy Sweepstakes under the judge, a former MBTCA president , Paul Combs. Paul is with Sterling's Kennel in Ohio. He has bred some of the dogs behind Howies dam's lines. Howie also won Winner's Dog (WD) with a three point major as well, from Judge Naomi J Waynee! Nice job Howie! He is starting his career with a bang!
